⛔ WHEN NOT TO?

Installing the IDE extension for the first time

/ide only manages existing integrations and shows their status — it does not install a new editor extension.

Better: Install the matching Claude Code extension directly from the editor's marketplace (e.g. the VS Code Marketplace).
